Adjustment of Trading Hours in Precious Metals and Foreign Exchange Markets

Dear Customer

The low trading volume within 1 minute after the market opens and 1 minute before the market closes will generally lead to large price fluctuations. As a result, the trading order may liquidated or stop lost order may be triggered because of unreasonable market quote. In order to reduce such risks, Emperor Financial Service Group will have the following adjustments to the trading hours of the precious metals and foreign exchange markets from 31 January 2022. 

 

Precious Metals Market Trading Hours

HK Time:

Summertime: From Monday 07:01a.m. to Saturday 04:50a.m.

Wintertime: From Monday 7:01a.m. to Saturday 05:50a.m.

*Summertime: Daily Close : 04:59a.m - 6:01a.m.​

*Wintertime: Daily Close : 05:59a.m - 7:01a.m.

US Eastern Time:

Summertime: From Sunday 07:01p.m. to Friday 04:50p.m.

Wintertime: From Sunday 06:01p.m. to Friday 04:50p.m.

* Trading is closed from 04:59pm to 06:01pm at the end of each day

 

Forex Market Trading Hours

Online Trading:

Summertime : Monday 07:01a.m. - Saturday 04:50a.m. (Daily Close: 04:59a.m. - 05:15a.m.).

Wintertime : Monday 06:01a.m - Saturday 05:50a.m. (Daily Close: 05:59a.m. - 06:15a.m.).
